About 10 miles west of Reno, Just of I-80, you come to the communities of Mogul and Verdi. Mogul is a small community, made up of primarily newer homes on large lots near the Truckee River. There is no shopping areas here, the closest shopping and services are about 5 minutes away at the Ridgeview Plaza at McCarran and Mae Anne Boulevards.
